Bookbinding with Leather
At long last, I summoned enough courage to bind a book with leather. In fact, I bound two books. For the first book, I used rice starch as the glue. I noticed that it took a really long time for the book to get dry. For the second book, I used PVA as the glue. PVA dries very fast, but there is very little room for error. The second binding was a miniature book, and the leather I used for both bindings was goat leather - the first was in forest green shade, and the second was in olive shade. I now plan to make the book of Genesis in two volumes in a leather binding.
